Cabins at Cooper’s Rock
All Mountain Creek Cabins at the Cheat Lake location are facing the woods, have a back deck, and include a hot tub that offer picturesque views. Some hot tubs are covered while others are open air. Depending on what you are looking for, each of our cabins offer amenities like a fire ring outside or a gas log fireplace inside.
Mountaineer Cabin, Shawnee Cabin, Bobcat Cabin, and Caleb Cabin sit higher up in the woods. Enjoy a cozy stay in Bobcat Cabin or Shawnee Cabin. Caleb Cabin is cable and satellite-free for an “unplugged” getaway. Mountaineer couples can appreciate Mountaineer Cabin that has WVU spirit and decor.
For a more intimate stay, Maple Tree Cabin is the smallest cabin that Mountain Creek Cabins offers. Cougar Cabin, White Tail Cabin, and Black Bear Cabin are located lower in the mountains. Black Bear Cabin offers solitude for a peaceful getaway. White Tail Cabin faces a creek where you may be able to hear the tranquil sounds of the water. I do they keep water in the hot tubs all winter or do they drain them by certain date
The hot tubs are maintained throughout the year so that you can enjoy them anytime!
Is this pet friendly?
We have two cabins that are pet friendly. The Maple Tree and the Caleb!
Do you have any cabins with jucuzzie inside
No Jacuzzi’s inside the cabins, but we do have hot tubs on the private porches outside each cabin!
Are there any cabins with a hottub available arrival Friday March 19th and leave on sunday?
Hi – which area has more to do for our family w/ 2 teenagers – Coopers Rock or Caanen Valley? We would be staying for 5 or 6 nights. We like canoeing, bike riding, mini golf, caverns, swimming, zip lining , train rides ………thank you!
Both locations have all those great activities, so probably whichever one is closest to you would be fine.
