Blackwater Falls State Park

During the winter months the park offers over ten miles of trails for the beginner to the experienced cross country skier. Many of the trails are groomed and maintained specifically for XC skiing. A full service XC ski center offers ski lessons and equipment rental.

Looking for a new sledding experience? The sledding hill at the park is one-quarter mile long, well-groomed and maintained for sledding specifically. This hill also offers a one-of-a-kind tow rope to the top, available on weekends. Sleds are available for rent at the XC ski center.The Sled Run & Cross Country Ski Center are open from mid-December through March 15th.
